BESS Student Campaign Terms & Conditions

1. Campaign Overview

The BESS Student Campaign (“Campaign”) is organized by BESS Computer Sdn Bhd and runs from 15 November 2025 until 31 January 2026, or while stocks last.

The campaign is open to students and parents purchasing on behalf of students from secondary school, college, polytechnic, or university level.

2. Eligibility

2.1 The campaign is open to:

• Current students with a valid student ID; or

• New students with a university/college/school offer letter, registration slip, or exam slip;

or

• Parents/guardians purchasing on behalf of a student, with supporting proof.

2.2 Proof of eligibility must be presented in-store or submitted online (WhatsApp for BESS Online Store, or Shopee Chatbox for Shopee purchases).

2.3 Each proof of student or parent verification is valid for one purchase only and cannot be reused across multiple transactions.

3. Purchase & Reward Structure

3.1 Purchase any laptop or PC during the campaign to qualify for the following:

3.2 The 3 Free Gifts for each purchase are:

• Wireless Mouse

3.3 Free gifts are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

3.4 The campaign is valid while stocks last, and BESS reserves the right to replace items with products of similar value if necessary.

4. Spin & Win Wheel

4.1 Each eligible customer will receive 1 or 2 spins based on purchase value.

4.2 Prizes on the Spin & Win wheel include:

• Cliptec Keyboard

• Stationery items

• Canon MG3070S Printer

• Cliptec Headset

• Portable Speaker

4.3 Each spin is final. No re-spin is allowed.

4.4 All prizes must be claimed on the same day (for in-store customers) or within 7 days after verification (for online customers).

5. Snap & Share Bonus Spin

5.1 Customers may earn 1 additional spin by participating in the “Snap & Share” activity:

• Take a creative photo or video showing your new purchase from BESS.

• Post it on TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook with the hashtag #BESSStudentPromo and tag @BESSComputersb.

• Show proof of your post to the staff (in-store) or send a screenshot (online).

5.2 After verification, customers will receive 1 additional spin under a special “BESS Student Promo Spin.”

6. Free Servicing Upgrade RAM Program

6.1 Customers may request a free servicing upgrade when purchasing additional RAM.

6.2 Customers will only pay for the RAM component price, while labor/service fees are waived.

6.3 This offer is valid for all student campaign participants, both in-store and online.

6.4 The upgrade service must be redeemed within 14 days of purchase and can be done at any BESS Computer branch.

7. Online Purchase Verification Process

7.1 Online buyers (via BESS Online Store or Shopee) must send:

• Purchase receipt

• Proof of student status (student ID, offer letter, exam slip, or school letter)

• If a parent buys on behalf, include a short declaration with proof of student status stating:

“I, [Parent’s Name], am purchasing this device for my child [Student’s Name], who is a student at [Institution Name].”

7.2 Verification is completed through:

• WhatsApp for BESS Online Store purchases

• Shopee Chatbox for Shopee purchases

7.3 Once verified, BESS will confirm eligibility for spins and gift redemption.

8. Website & Promotion Activities

8.1 The campaign will be featured on the BESS Computer website with:

• Countdown banner

• Campaign landing page

• Terms & Conditions page (this document)

8.2 Posters, flyers, and brochures will be available at all BESS outlets and online platforms to promote the campaign.

9. General Terms

9.1 Use of Images and Content

By participating in the campaign, customers grant BESS Computer Sdn Bhd the right to use photos, videos, or testimonials taken during or after their participation for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes across all platforms (including social media, website, and print), without any compensation or further consent.

9.2 Data Privacy

All personal data collected during this campaign will be used solely for campaign verification,

communication, and record purposes in accordance with BESS Computer’s Privacy Policy. Customer information will not be shared with third parties without consent.

9.3 Campaign Integrity

BESS reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to have provided false information or engaged in any fraudulent activity that compromises the fairness of the campaign.

9.4 Amendments and Termination

BESS Computer reserves the right to change, amend, extend, or terminate the campaign at any time without prior notice. Any such changes will be announced on official communication channels.

9.5 Liability Disclaimer

BESS Computer Sdn Bhd shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in this campaign, prize usage, or failure to redeem gifts.

9.6 Final Decision

All decisions made by BESS Computer regarding eligibility, prizes, and campaign matters are final and binding. No further correspondence will be entertained.

9.7 Acceptance of Terms

Participation in the campaign signifies full acceptance and agreement to these Terms and Conditions.
